Tessen and Hojo Jutsu Seminar

Tessen: A traditional Japanese war fan; it was used in war as a signaling device.  Tessen' came in many different sizes, shapes, and materials.  Many of them were made of metal, and sturdy enough to fight with.  We will be learning the techniques that were made for the tessen.

Hojo-jutsu: Also known as Nawajutsu, is the traditional Japanese Martial Art of restraining with a cord or rope.

Carl E. Long is currently the Chairmen and SoShihan of the Kokusai Nippon Budo Kai, and has achieved Dan ranks in Shorin Ryu Karate, Shito Ryu Karate, Okinawan Kobudo, Aikido, Shindo Muso Ryu Jojutsu, and Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iaijutsu.  A full biography of Carl E.
